Robin Michel, born and raised in Utah, has mostly lived in Northern California. She is a 2021 Anne G. Locasio scholarship recipient and the editor of How to Begin: Poems, Prompts, Tips and Writing Exercises (Raven & Wren Press). She teaches English at an international school in San Francisco.
