Is there a publication of all the Cartoons of Saturday Evening Post from the 30’s up to the 70′ and 80’s?
These are all great cartoons, but number 3 (to me) takes the cake; and very likely not wedding cake! The bride here HAVING to say “Answer him!” is just sooo wickedly, embarrassingly funny, it’s fantastic. I bet it’s happened, more than once.
The top two are so wonderfully degrading too! The brides may be wearing white but the humor is definitely dark, my favorite, and apparently yours as well!
