I agree with Linda about closing the curtains in the top cartoon. It’s open (I guess) for our entertainment. With number 4 down from ’55, they’re determined to get into that party even if it means breaking down the front door!
With number 5 from ’63 he just comes right out and says it, smiling. With the bottom two from ’56, just steer clear of those neighbors.
I really enjoy these cartoons. I just don’t see them anymore. We used to get newspapers with cartoons, magazines with cartoon. None of them anymore!!!
Having good neighbours is a treasure.
It’s more fun to let the neighbor look in and drool.
So, why doesn’t the first couple simply close the curtains?
