I’m not happy about it, but we must face the fact energy sources that aren’t renewable is a “dead end”, so to speak. Perhaps a necessary evil in times gone by, but one we can no longer afford. Not only are they bad for our planet Earth, but we’ve foolishly allowed ourselves to forget that their ending means the end of all that goes with them. I fear we may have waited too long for this reality to sink in our heads. I truly hope that isn’t the case. We can & must reverse our course or it will mean the end of us all. As these finite resources begin to disappear, the result will be a “domino effect” that topples much of our way of life. However, I am hopeful that we shall prevail in the long run, but it’s going to take planning, sacrifice, and perseverance. May GOD help us. We’re going to need it. Amen.
Yes, Midnight_Rider_1961, we can all look back and laugh … as the ocean levels rise and the world burns and the crops fail. Fossil fuels are the answer to the scourge of homo sapiens.
I love the first one best, too. The visual of it is very funny, but the reality of electric cars are not the perfect solution the media likes to portray them. #2 by Goldstein is great, and number 3 by Gallagher too; completely clueless about his speed.
The first is my favourite. When the current electric-car madness fades away as it has before, we should all look back, laugh, then say “I told you so.”
