  1. I understand #7, he just hasn’t fully woke up yet and grabbed a cane by mistsake.

    Can anyone explain #2 for me?

    She has heard of wind or weather warnings for small boats between two points on the coast.

    I don’t see how it is relevant or humorous.

    Is it the idea she is being over prepared and it is funny because the warning doesn’t apply to them?

  2. I agree on cartoon #6! This wife has some nerve committing her husband to run down to the bus or train station to pick Martha up, in a rainstorm about as bad as the artist could depict it. With #7, I have no idea what’s going on with the husband. It’s clearly raining, and he’s clearly ‘out of it’ mentally.
