FRESH NEW YEAR

2021 is finally here and while things have not drastically changed overnight, we are all looking at this year with hope and anticipation. In fact, 2021 brings us the opportunity to celebrate a huge anniversary for us at Curtis. On August 4th our beloved The Saturday Evening Post will be celebrating 200 Years! As the licensing division of America’s oldest magazine, we could not be prouder of the legacy, heritage and contribution that our magazine has made to this country.

This month, we had planned as usual to attend the Atlanta International Gift and Market show. Sadly, for the first time in over a decade, due to Covid 19 restrictions we were not able to attend. While Nicole and Cris were really disappointed not to be able to meet with licensees and review product launches, we were still able to catch up with our licensees and can show you some of the highlights:

RAZ IMPORTS
As us usual for RAZ, the presented several new collections that included Curtis artwork. Among them are a festive assortment of cocktail inspired designs which they applied to ornaments, wall art and trays. Another collection, Holiday Spice, featured comfort spice-themed images on wall décor, storage tins and spice jars. Our artwork also made an appearance in the Chalet, Country Kitchmas, Oh Holy Night and To Grandmother’s House We Go collections. We could not be happier with RAZ’s holiday introduction and can’t wait to see the products in person.

GANZ/CBK

We were also thrilled that GANZ/CBK launched their “Believe” line which incorporates classic Leyendecker Santas embellished with beautiful scrollwork. The images appear on ornament sets, advent calendar, lighted canvases, plates and much more. The classic look of the Santas paired with the scroll work nicely compliments GANZ/CBK’S traditional collection. We are very excited to find out how the products were received and look forward to working with GANZ/CBK’S again in the near future!

FREEHEART

Following the interest in travel, which only grew during the pandemic, our partner, Freehand introduced their Landmarks collection, a line of travel-themed drinkware that includes popular destinations such as Yosemite National Park, Niagara Falls, Washington DC and many others. Freeheart combined the artwork with colorful tops making a tumbler that any avid traveler would be proud to own.

As always, we are continually creating new artwork, both per request and in anticipation of product trends. If you are getting ready to review designs for your upcoming collections, please do not hesitate to reach out.
