PREPARING FOR THE SEASON AHEAD
And just like that, Halloween is behind us and most of us are starting to prepare for the Holiday season. Thanksgiving is just around the corner and most retail stores have been displaying Christmas merchandise for a while.
At Curtis, we have been busy working on licensee’s special art requests in addition to preparing new collections to fit trends. Among our new collections is a colorful “Dia de los Muertos” assortment that celebrates the color and whimsical skull designs characteristic of that holiday. These fun designs can be easily incorporated onto a variety of products so let us know if these may work for you.
Fall seems to be everyone’s favorite season. We would be remiss if we did not showcase our collection of seasonal images including colorful pumpkins, cozy plaids, botanical elements and bouquets. Drawing from nature’s burnt oranges, pale mossy greens and cozy tans, our images can easily transition to Thanksgiving and are perfect for home décor, tabletop products and even apparel.

Words are powerful and when combined with iconic imagery, they can be downright transformative. Words can make you long for travel and adventure and they can also provide joy and comfort during the holiday season. This was the creative inspiration behind two of our newest collections. Our “Locations” collection combines relaxing ocean-inspired colors with soothing sentiments and serene beach destinations. The use of classic nautical icons such as anchors and sea turtles reinforce this fresh, nautical theme. This style can be easily customized to include your most requested destinations or imagery, so please let us know if you would like to see more.

Our “Christmas Expressions” collection also showcases messages, but in a completely different way. Holiday words and phrases are whimsically arranged to form the shapes of classic Christmas icons. From beloved carols to messages of hope, love and joy, words take the shape of angels, a classic Christmas tree and even Santa himself! These designs can be easily combined in sets of 2, 3 or more and go well with other patterns including gold leaf and cheerful plaids making these images very versatile.
