  1. Number 2 down (’62) is my favorite here. I’m afraid she’s out of luck on that request, best keeping her windows shut until the smell dies down. Also love the top (’57) ‘toon. She looks pretty mad to me, and the husband’s remark certainly isn’t helping.

  2. The last one is my favourite. I’ve seen this sort of thing happen firsthand with my Granddaddy’s garden. (Un)fortunately, the preservative sprayed on the seeds of corn or beans made many of the birds sick and some would die in the garden. We just buried them there adding more natural fertilizer to the soil. He raised sheep and when one of the baby lambs did not survive, it was buried in the garden too.
