First printed in Philadelphia in 1821, The Saturday Evening Post has chronicled more than two centuries of growth and change in the United States and the world. Curtis Publishing purchased it in 1897 and brought it to national prominence with iconic cover illustrations, top-notch reporting, and significant fiction. The archive includes nearly every issue from 1821 to 2026.

Jack and Jill Magazine
The publishers of The Saturday Evening Post created Jack and Jill, the Magazine for Boys and Girls in 1938. Jack and Jill’s stories, poems, and activities are oriented toward elementary-school-aged children, with the aim of widening young readers’ vocabulary and their understanding of the world. The archive includes the entire 88-year run of the magazine, through 2026.
Humpty Dumpty
Established in 1952 as Humpty Dumpty’s Magazine for Little Children by the publishers of Parents’ Magazine, Humpty Dumpty aims to encourage curiosity, creativity, and confidence in children who are still learning to read, with stories and poems they can share with their grown-ups and activities they can enjoy on their own. The archive includes the entire 74-year run of the magazine, through 2026.
