Alain Kerfs was born in Brussels, Belgium, and came to the United States as a child. His fiction has appeared or is upcoming in North Dakota Quarterly, Grub Street, One Teen Story, and elsewhere. He attended the San Francisco State MFA Creative Writing program and was awarded a Eugene O’Neill residency fellowship.
