Anne Korkeakivi is the award-winning author of the novels An Unexpected Guest and Shining Sea, both from Little, Brown & Co. Her short fiction and nonfiction have appeared in numerous periodicals in the U.S., the U.K., and online, including The Atlantic, The Yale Review, The New York Times, TIME, The Wall Street Journal, AD, The Bellevue Literary Review, Consequence, The Millions, and Lit Hub, as well as in Best Women’s Travel Writing, vol. 10, and she’s a recipient of fellowships for her fiction from Yaddo, Hawthornden, Wildacres, and (upcoming) Norton Island. A multi-generation New Yorker, she currently lives in Geneva, Switzerland.
