Christopher Hazell is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in English with a concentration in fiction writing at the University of North Texas, where he is also a teaching fellow. He holds an MA in American Studies from Brown. His short story “Phantom Limb” received an honorable mention for the J.F. Powers Prize for Short Fiction for the literary magazine Dappled Things.
