Donna Harrington-Lueker is a professor in the Department of English, Communications, and Media at Salve Regina University in Newport, R.I. She is the author of Books for Idle Hours: Nineteenth-Century Publishing and the Rise of Summer Reading (2019) from the University of Massachusetts Press.
