Elise Koning is a writer and farmer in western Indiana, where she raises sheep, cattle, and Clydesdale horses. She has written informational articles for many state and national agricultural publications, but “The Song,” which was featured by the Post in May 2021, was her first work of fiction published by a national magazine.
