Miranda Faye Dillon is currently an honor student at Pratt Institute, studying creative writing. She completed her first novel, The Town of Past, at age 17, currently completing the final edits. She is also working on another novel, one screenplay, and many short fiction pieces. Passionate about filmmaking, she hopes to one day write screenplays and direct films. Inspired when traveling or when watching old film classics such as The Breakfast Club, St. Elmo’s Fire, or Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Dillon gravitates toward writing familial conflict-driven stories, drama, romance, or stories that she calls “relatable on the rocks with a twist,” pressing readers to reevaluate the creative reality under a magnifying glass and relate it to their own lives.
