Max Talley was born in New York City and lives in Southern California. His writing has appeared in Fiction Southeast, Atticus Review, Bridge Eight, Litbreak, Santa Fe Literary Review, and Litro, among others. His story “Celestial Vagabonds” won the best fiction contest at Jerry Jazz Musician in 2021, then was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Talley’s crime thriller, Santa Fe Psychosis, was published by Dark Edge Press in May 2022 and his literary fiction collection, My Secret Place, is forthcoming from Main Street Rag Books.
