Raymond Chandler was best known as a crime and detective fiction writer. His novels include The Big Sleep, The Lady in the Lake, and The Long Good-bye. Almost all of his novels were made into motion pictures. Chandler wrote two stories for The Saturday Evening Post: "I'll Be Waiting" and "The Simple Art of Murder."
