Shelley Wood’s first novel, The Quintland Sisters (March 2019; William Morrow) debuted as a #1 Canadian bestseller. Her short stories have appeared in the Antigonish Review, the Nashwaak Review, the New Quarterly, carte blanche, F(r)iction, Bath Flash Fiction, and Room. She has won the 2016 Frank McCourt prize for Creative Nonfiction, the Winter 2016/17 Nonfiction prize from Causeway Lit, and the 2017 Fiction prize from Freefall Magazine. She works as the Editorial Director for New York’s Cardiovascular Research Foundation and has a home, a man, and a dog in Kelowna, Canada.
