William Burton McCormick’s stories have appeared in Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine, Sherlock Holmes Mystery Magazine, and others. He is a three-time Derringer Award Finalist for the year’s best mystery short fiction and was elected a Hawthornden Writing Fellow in Scotland in 2013. William has lived in Ukraine, Russia, Latvia, and Estonia and his writing often deals frankly with the histories and politics of those countries. His novel, Lenin’s Harem, is available from Endeavour Press.
