Injection Dejection

Is it tacky to post your vaccine selfie on social media?

—Immunized in Colorado

Posts that separate Facebook friends into haves and have-nots can be insensitive, but this is different. A vaccination post isn’t just about showing off your immunization cred; it’s part of a bigger story about our collective fight against this thing. As long as that vaccine selfie doesn’t feature you popping a pricey bottle of Dom Perignon, I say post away! Caveat: Keep your vaccination card out of the selfie, since it displays your full name and birthdate.

Mane-splaining

I’ve been with my hairdresser for a while — long enough that it might be awkward if I switch to her colleague at the same salon. Is this bad form? This other stylist’s cuts look so good!

—Hair-Triggered in New York

I called a stylist friend for this one, and she said you’re probably fretting over nothing. Hair styling is an art, and all artists specialize in different mediums and styles. If you’re getting a Monet when you really want a Manet, then do yourself a favor and get clipped by the shearer of your choice.
