I’ve been reading the Saturday Evening Post and enjoying it since I was about 10 years old. I remember reading True Grit as a serial in it….and If It’s Tuesday it Must be Belgium-and Tugboat Annie and Alexander Botts..great magazine then and now.
Great cartoons as usual, but now I’ll be nervous at the zoo.
The cartoon showing the rhino behind the hunters could easily read “Did you say you heard a twig snap?” or “You’ll get used to hearing random noises.” I just got my new hearing aids and think I hear random sounds including behind me. I whirl around to see nothing when it sounds like the huge rhino. Must learn to adjust! This cartoon would be a great one w/either of my captions for the audiologist’s office!
