These are all pretty funny, but I’ve got to go with the opening cartoon (also # 7) by Joe Zeis as my favorite. That is one heck of a move. Is it buffoonery or brilliant? I don’t know. At 14 (end of 8th grade) we had a class party at a bowling alley in Burbank. I was bowling with a girl who ‘bowled’ before the pin setter had fully risen. Fortunately it was a gutter ball, but the manager saw it. With both arms he quickly took us each by the back of our shirts (her blouse) and shouted “GET OUTTA HERE RIGHT NOW. SCRAM!!”
