Some great Dodge ads here for sure. My favorite is the lemon cream (for lack of not knowing the name of the color) ’31 coupe! The styles changed drastically during the ’30s, from every company.
The red ’51 ad is quite nice, really bouncing out at you with the black background. Back then a two-page ad was as big (or bigger?) than a television screen. Love the ’68 Coronet 500 wagon ad towards the bottom. This wagon was featured on ‘The Doris Day Show’ which started in the fall of ’68. Fantastic show that ran until 1973.
I am moved by the last one, from 1969, where the businessman is depicted by an African-American man. I suspect this was a brave choice by Dodge.
