It’s estimated that more than 700 languages are spoken throughout the avenues and boroughs of New York City. A walk through the United Nations headquarters — a focal point of international interaction — could present a language barrier then, especially if you need a little help. 

The U.N. has six official languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, and Spanish. If you were stuck at U.N. headquarters with a full bladder, in how many of those languages could you ask, “Where is the restroom?”

  1. Private schools untill 2 years of skills teaching or junior college should be illegal in America!
    Any questions.
    Reading by site should precede phonics by at least 2 years. This rule needs to be universal in America.
